go-tell-alice
I’m not reblogging this because I agree with it. I definitely don’t agree with stealing medicine from cancer patients. I just wanted to tell the OP that they need to talk to their physician. I have a legitimate disorder that requires pain meds and to get any real help they need to be honest with their doctor.
Also, 25mcg an hour is the SMALLEST dose of fentanyl that you can be on (besides the 12.5mcg/hr but I’ve only ever heard of children and elderly people getting this). I started the fentanyl patch on 50mcg an hour with percocet for break through pain. It had to be adjusted after that but I began on that. Seriously, tell your doctor you’re in pain still. Your doc will probably lower the amount of percocet you get and up the dose on the fentanyl patch. But don’t be discouraged! The patch gives you a dose every hour and you’ll notice you won’t need as many oral pain meds this way. It helped me a lot. But if you don’t tell your doctor what’s going on she can’t help you.
Another thing: have you tried taking ibprophen EVERY 12 hrs? I take it every day. It didn’t change anything at first but after 2 weeks I noticed my pain in my lower back had decreased. It can take awhile to kick in.

What Kind of Apocalypse Do You Enjoy Reading About?

I’ve been writing about a post-apocalyptic world and I was wondering something… Would you (the reader) rather read about a post-apocalyptic world centered around zombies, plagues, aliens, natural disasters, or something else entirely? If it’s something else, please specify! Please answer below! :)

I just want to insist that if you haven’t read John Green’s books you go out and buy the collection NOW. I just finished re-reading TFIOS and am reminded of how awesome his writing is and how glorious the world and life is. I know his books aren’t perfect but really who’s are? Also, they’re about the closest to perfection you’re going to get and even the flaws end up making them better. SO GO TO THE STORE NOW.

That is all.
